Before you get in touch
- Rescues are often full and many keep a waiting list, so contact a few as early as you can.
- Each rescue has its own way of taking rabbits in. Their websites say how, and some ask you to fill in a form first.
- Have your rabbit’s age, sex, neutering and vaccination history to hand, and say if they live with a bonded partner. Bonded rabbits should stay together.
- Never release a pet rabbit outdoors. Domestic rabbits cannot fend for themselves in the wild.
