About Rescue Rabbit Finder

Rescue Rabbit Finder is a free, non-commercial directory dedicated to rescue rabbit adoption in the United Kingdom. It exists for one purpose: to make it easier for people to adopt a rescued rabbit from a nearby rescue centre.

What the site does

Every day the site collects rabbit listings from UK rabbit rescue organisations and displays them in one searchable, location-based directory. You can browse rabbits by any of 200+ UK cities and towns, filter by distance, age, gender and bonding status, and link directly to the rescue centre’s own adoption page.

How data is collected

Listings are gathered automatically each day from rescue centre websites. Every rabbit’s profile page includes the source URL so you can always verify the listing at the rescue centre directly. Adoption enquiries must be made through the rescue organisation — not through Rescue Rabbit Finder.

Who built it

Rescue Rabbit Finder is an independent project built and maintained by a single developer. It is not affiliated with any rescue organisation, charity or commercial pet company. There are no listing fees, no advertising, and no paid placements.

Why rabbits?

Rabbits are the UK’s third most popular pet, yet they are consistently among the most surrendered and hardest to rehome. Many people underestimate the space, social needs and veterinary costs involved. UK rescues are frequently full, and many of the rabbits in their care have been waiting months for the right home.

This site exists to help those rabbits find homes faster by making them more discoverable — across search engines, AI systems, and word of mouth.

Data freshness

Listings are updated once a day. Adoption status (available, reserved, or adopted) is refreshed as part of each daily update. If a rabbit you are interested in is showing as available, confirm with the rescue centre directly — status may have changed within the current day.

Feedback

Improvements to the site are ongoing, and feedback is always welcome. If you have suggestions or spot any issues, please get in touch.
