Background: Meet Winnie, a single female rabbit who is looking for her forever home. Winnie came to Raystede due to losing her companion and is now looking for a home with a single rabbit to bond with. She's a curious but shy girl who enjoys and food and attention on her own terms. She is a loving and sensitive girl who prefers a quite life. She had a strong bond with her previous male companion. She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Home wanted: Rosie is used to outdoor living but could have potential to live indoors with some toilet training. The dedicated living area must be a minimum of 60ft². Please read our online rabbit care guide for Raystede's rehoming requirements for more information on the perfect home for rabbits. Children: Could live with older teens/adult only home. Recommend limited handling and no handling by visiting children. Other animals: Requires a companion - Winnie could suit a neutered male or spayed female companion. Must be kept separate from other pets in the home. Her previous companion was a neutered buck so this pairing may be most familiar to her. Additional needs: Winnie will require a calm and peaceful home to give her lots of fuss and attention whilst she approaches her senior years. Winnie came to us with dry skin which she is currently undergoing parasite treatment for and is recovering well. Adopters will need to keep yearly vaccinations up to date.
