Background: Meet Pippa, a single female rabbit who is looking for her forever home. Pippa came to Raystede due to recently losing her companion. She can be an independent girl and will let you know when she wants affection on her own terms and does not enjoy being handled. Pippa does love her treats and will run over when she hears the packet. She had a strong bond with her previous companion and would follow him round everywhere. She is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Home wanted: Pippa could be suited to indoor or outdoor living. The dedicated living area must be a minimum of 60ft². She was described as being toilet trained in her previous indoor home. Please read our online rabbit care guide for Raystede's rehoming requirements for more information on the perfect indoor home for rabbits. Children: Could live with older teens/adult only home. Recommend limited handling and no handling by visiting children. Other animals: Requires a companion - Pippa could suit a neutered male or spayed female companion. Must be kept separate from other pets in the home. Her previous companion was a neutered buck so this pairing may be most familiar to her. Additional needs: Pippa will require a calm and peaceful home to give her lots of fuss and attention whilst she approaches her senior years. Pippa has some evidence of early dental disease which may be managed through a strict, hay-based diet and plenty of grass. Adopters will need to keep yearly vaccinations up to date.
