Background: Meet Ridley, a single male rabbit who is looking for a new home with a suitable companion. He came to Raystede sadly due to the ill health of his owner and is now ready to start looking for a new home and companion. During his stay at Raystede he has shown to be quite an independent rabbit who likes attention on his own terms. He is a fairly confident rabbit but can take some time to get used to new surrounds. He loves having cosy areas and tunnels to hide in and a variety of enrichment to explore. Whilst he is happy to be independent of people, he still comes running over to check to see if you have tasty treats for him! Home wanted: Ridley is used to living indoors and will need a home of at least 3m x 2m x 1m. Children: Could live with older teens/adult only home. Recommend limited handling. Other animals: Requires a companion - suited for a spayed female. Must be kept separate from other pets in the home. Additional needs: He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Adopters will need to keep yearly vaccinations up to date. Enclosure must be minimum of 60ft² for a bonded pair. If you are interested in adopting Ridley as a companion for your rabbit, please complete an online application form.
