Kayla & Mutton Chops

Background: Meet Kayla (spayed doe) and Mutton Chops (neutered buck) a bonded pair of rabbits. Kayla and Mutton Chops both came to Raystede due to change of circumstances and were bonded onsite by our Small Animal team when they both sadly lost their companions. Kayla is a loving, friendly and confident girl who enjoys human interaction, whilst Mutton Chops is not so keen this. However, both buns love their food and will rush over when they hear the packet! Both rabbits are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Home wanted: Kayla and Mutton Chops are indoor rabbits and will need to live indoors in their new home. Both buns are very tidy - the dedicated living area must be a minimum of 60ft². Please read our online rabbits care guide for Raystede's rehoming requirements for more information on the perfect indoor home for rabbits. Children: Could live with older teens/adult only home. Recommend limited handling. Other animals: Must be rehomed together as a pair. Must be kept separate from other pets in the home. Additional needs: Kayla and Mutton Chops are slightly older buns, so will require a calm and peaceful home to give them lots of fuss and attention in their twilight years. Despite their ages, they both have lots of energy so will need lots of fun enrichment to keep them occupied. Mutton Chops has required some veterinary treatments during his stay with us including dental work for minor spurs and a tear duct flush/eye ulcer. This will need to be monitored, and necessary treatments sought as necessary. Additional attention to grooming - must keep his mutton chops matt free!
