April is a young female lionhead rabbit. She came to us after being found under a car in Heywood so we have no background information about her, but we estimate she was born in January this year. April is a small sized rabbit with a semi long coat, we’ve had no issues with her since she’s been with us but April is a little nervous of people, which is quite common for rabbits, but she has been fine with general handling. She will be best re-homed with adults and older children in a quiet home. We would also like to re-home her as a partner for another lone rabbit, ideally a placid neutered male and adopters will need a temporary separate area for her while bonding with an existing rabbit. April is relatively young so living side by side, with her new friend, until she’s slightly older would be a sensible option. April is currently a little young for neutering so adopters will receive a voucher for free neutering, at vetsforpets Bury, to use when she’s older. We feel she would be fine either living indoors or in outdoor accommodation with the right set up but she would be best house indoors in initially until she’s a little bigger. She will be microchipped before re-homing with registration. Our rabbits are also re-homed vet health checked and with 4 weeks free pet plan insurance cover. Applications are through the online form and we will get back to you, by email, A.S.A.P. We are open Thu, Fri, Sat and Sunday 11am till 4pm if you do want to meet her or if you are interested in re-homing you can also arrange a meet outside these days by contacting us on farm@bleakholt.org
