Yara

Yara is a beautiful 8-year-old female rabbit who is spayed, up to date with her vaccinations, and ready to find a loving retirement home. She has been with her current owners since she was very young, and she's well accustomed to being handled, groomed, and even hand-fed. She is confident around people and has always enjoyed gentle interaction on her own terms. Sadly, Yara recently lost her long-time bonded companion, so we are hoping to find her a calm, caring home where she can be bonded with another friendly rabbit and enjoy a peaceful, happy life. Yara is a very inquisitive little lady who loves to explore and have a good nosey around her surroundings. She enjoys climbing and sitting up high to watch the world go by, racing through tunnels, playing with toys and cardboard boxes, and showing off joyful binkies when she's feeling especially happy. She also loves her vegetables, happily eats plenty of hay, and will gently take treats straight from your hand. One of her favourite ways to relax is with a gentle head rub. Because Yara is entering her golden years, we feel she would be happiest in a quieter home with older children or teenagers who will respect her pace and give her the time and space she needs to settle in. In return, she will make a wonderful, affectionate companion with lots of personality and plenty of love to give.
