Hi I'm Sammy, a beautiful black and white, blue eyed mini lop! I am very gentle natured and was very quiet when I entered the rescue but my cheeky side is starting to show through my love for snatching treats out my foster carers hands and throwing around my stacking cups at meal times! I have really thrived after being moved into an indoor environment from my previous outdoor set up. I'm so happy and show it through daily  binkies and flops!   Im a really sweet boy who needs a quieter household, with no children or noisy, boisterous pets. Previously when overwhelmed I have  overgroomed causing bald spots and sore feet. Daily pain relief and  a calm environment allowed my grooming behaviours to improve and my hair has returned while in my foster home. Hopefully having a bonded partner would help to alleviate my over grooming behaviour which potentially stemmed from a combination of arthritic pain, environmental stress and being a single bunny. My perfect home would require plenty of stimulation to continue to support me in moving away from overgrooming behaviour. I currently receive this through apple sticks which I love to strip the bark off and chew. I'm already a very good hay eater and I also love forage sprinkled through my hay which keeps me engaged for long periods of time as I happily munch away! I like to tear up newspapers and dig at my blankets, however I am not a destructive rabbit and have been very well behaved in my foster carers home! I am also improving my litter training habits and have become very good at using my litter tray now. In the evenings I enjoy a gentle head rub, a yummy treat and a piece of dandelion root before bed. I would love a bonded friend to cuddle up to, create mischief with and reassure me. I have lots of love to give to the right bunny and human, could that be you?
