Meet Moira and Mhairi, our hilarious, resident "mini Lara Crofts"! These settled, busy, and thriving wee girls love their daily routine, are full of comical personality, and are looking for a patient forever home together. They have very similar, highly entertaining personalities and love having plenty of space to roam and explore. While they love an adventure, they are cautious "risk assessment" experts who will quickly scuttle straight back to the safety of their shed if they get spooked. Potential adopters should note that their hair is a bit high-maintenance and requires regular grooming. While the rescue understands this might be a deal-breaker for some, these two are so incredibly rewarding that they are absolutely worth the extra effort. Food is the absolute fastest way to win both of these girls over. They are excellent hay eaters and pass great poops. They eat almost everything and will boldly approach you for a snack and run off to enjoy their prize. They have happily munched on banana, fibre sticks, pea flakes, and kale, though they have made it very clear that they do not like cucumber! Because they are currently devouring fresh grass, they don't need to go overboard on extra greens. Their litter tray use gets better every day, and they are tidy enough to keep their favourite straw bed completely clean. They are much tidier than expected, especially when you fill big under-bed storage boxes with high-quality hay to encourage them to sit, munch, and do their business. When it comes to other animals, they are entirely unbothered by cats, even if the cat is fascinated by them. However, they aren't sure about dogs yet and will thump their back legs to show their disapproval. These girls would suit a home looking for rabbits to interact with rather than "cuddly" lap bunnies. They strictly prefer keeping all four paws firmly on the ground, but they are very social on their own terms. They will happily approach you for treats and love receiving gentle head pats.
