Hi there, I'm Whisp ๐Ÿ™‚ I arrived at this Bunny Boot Camp and was immediately put on a strict high-fibre diet! Lots of Timothy Hay (I'm told 'high quality', pfff!) and Burgess nuggets with some fibre nuggets thrown in! "Where's my muesli?", I said. And "where's my enormous plate of veg?" Tut!!! I'll just hold out, she'll give in, eventually... I'm not eating that hay! I'll just tear the cardboard box to pieces until she sees sense... Anyway, turns out that the hay is really tasty... and the Burgess nuggets - who knew?! I've also been driven to see a lovely lady a few times who told me that I was the nicest rabbit she's ever treated. I think it was some sort of spa or day care for animals? Anyway, she gave me a kind of massage and my foster mummy some syrupy treats, to make me feel like a teenager again, which I take twice a day - yum ๐Ÿ˜‹ Then I was subjected to enforced daily exercise! However, hopping about through tunnels and runs was actually fun and came with the bonus of yummy grass to eat! And with my new syrups, I can jump and hop and stand on my hind legs to have a nosey at what's going on. Maybe the Bunny Boot Camp wasn't so bad after all... Whisp is a special lady. She is beautiful, gentle, timid and loving - once she trusts you. In 13 years of fostering, I have not cared for such a gentle soul. Whisp loves nothing more than head rubs and scritches and it will be a very memorable day when she decides to love you back: she loves grooming my fleecy jumpers and PJs and just recently my hand (her way of saying thank you... AND encouraging you to continue giving her all your attention!). Whisp would like a quiet life. Endless evenings of cuddles and flops on a cosy rug. Or summer days munching the grass - you may even be treated to a binky or two, if you're lucky! Whisp is a very different wee bun than the one who came to us a few weeks ago: she is happier, healthier, pain-free (thanks to amazing vet care) much more mobile and sports a great figure ๐Ÿ˜ She's got her bounce back! She will need medications twice a day, every day but she takes them easily like a wee trooper. Whisp is not suitable for children due to her needing special care. Sore hocks is common in rabbits especially if they're on the chubby side but with Whisp's trimmer bod, her feet have improved amazingly well. We invested in some rather fetching 'hock socks' which will keep her tootsies pain-free. Whisp deserves a loving, caring home which can give her all the time and attention she needs... in return, you'll be given endless love โค๏ธ Whisp is an exceptionally clean rabbit who always uses her litter tray. She is suited to an indoor set-up with safe spaces to explore (she does not climb easily) or an outdoor set-up with frequent visits from you to enjoy cuddles together with her new buddy.
