Mushroom

Mushroom is a young female rabbit of 8–12 months, vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, who arrived at the rescue on 01/10/2025. Mushroom spent an unknown amount of her early life living loose outside, so she is still learning to trust people. She is getting much braver and will come over for food now, and occasionally lets you stroke her, but she also spooks easily. She needs a patient and experienced owner who is happy with however much interaction Mushroom chooses to offer. She is only young and full of energy, and is a joy to simply watch doing her own thing. She will need to be bonded with at least one other rabbit and would benefit greatly from a laid-back companion to show her the world isn't quite as scary as she thinks. She has made brilliant progress in her time at the rescue, but she may always be a rabbit who just wants to do rabbity things rather than spend much time interacting with people. Mushroom is not suitable for homes with children. She would be best suited to an outdoor home, though she could live indoors in a very quiet adult-only household with the rabbits in their own room. She will need a minimum space of 6ft x 10ft, with bigger always being better.
