Ruby

About Ruby
- Age
- 7 months
- Gender
- Female
She's around 7 months old and came into our care after being found abandoned by a national RSPCA inspector. Despite her uncertain start, she's settling in well and showing us what a characterful little rabbit she is. Ruby has a very clear sense of what belongs to her and how she likes things arranged - she knows her space and where she likes her stuff! She's not a fan of sudden fast movements, so a calm and gentle approach will go a long way with her. On the flip side, she absolutely loves a gentle head groom and is very fond of burrowing and foraging for her food, which makes enrichment feeding a great way to keep her busy and happy! Here's what we know about Ruby: 👶 Could live with children aged 13+ 🐰 Needs to be bonded with a neutered rabbit for company 🏡 Needs a rabbit-savvy, experienced home 🧠 A girl who knows her own mind and appreciates having her space respected ❤️ Loves a gentle head groom, burrowing, and foraging for her food Ruby is looking for a patient, experienced home that will take the time to understand her quirks and let her settle in at her own pace. Rabbits are active and social animals - they need another rabbit for company and plenty of space to live happy and healthy lives. A pair of average sized rabbits need a minimum area of 3m x 2m x 1m high (10ft x 6.5ft x 3.5ft), comprising a sheltered living area with a permanently attached run, regardless if they live inside or outside.
