Beau needs an experienced home where he can be introduced to a neutered doe very slowly. He has had a lot of health problems but is currently ok. He had his ears bitten by other rabbits before he came to us. He has been rehomed and has come back due to his inability to cope. He can be very reactive if his ears are touched – or even if he THINKS his ears might be touched. He can bite. Mostly he is just an insecure boy who needs a very experience but understanding home. He is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. When rehoming rabbits, we follow the advice from the Rabbit Welfare Association www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk especially regarding accommodation. Please look at this to check that you can meet these standards. If you think you have the skills and the patience to help this little boy, please email jan@farplace.org.uk for the questionnaire and to arrange a home check. Homes within an hour's drive of the rescue centre in Weardale, County Durham, DL13 1LE will take priority. We have no fixed adoption fee, but do ask for a generous donation. Please note: we do not rehome rabbits over the Easter period. We are not open to the public.
