Background: Meet Lenny, a single male rabbit who is looking for a new home with a suitable companion. Lenny came to Raystede due to his previous owner's poor health and unfortunately was not kept in the best of conditions. We have limited information about his history however since coming to us he has really started to come out of his shell. He is a sweet calm boy and is very clean. He is still cautious around new people, but he will now accept treats and occasional head strokes once he trusts you. He needs a kind and patient home who will help him to build confidence around people. Home wanted: Lenny will require an indoor home, either free roam or a designated pen measuring at least 60ft². He can be quite shy so he would benefit from a quieter home. He's litter trained and not destructive. Children: Could live with older respectful teens/adult only home. Recommend limited handling. Other animals: Requires a companion - would be best suited to a spayed female. Must be kept separate from other pets in the home. Additional needs: Since being with us he has been on a controlled diet as he was overweight when he arrived. This will need to be continued in his new home.
