Background: Meet Spikie and Duckie, a pair of bonded female giant rabbits who are looking for a new home together. They originally came to Raystede as babies with the rest of their litter, however due to their owner's change in circumstances they have sadly needed to be returned. Home wanted: As the girls are giant breeds they require a large enclosure, ideally more than the minimum of 3m x 2m x 1m. They are not litter trained so would be better suited to a secure outdoor enclosure. Due to their size, we would recommend providing a large playhouse or converted shed as their indoor space, with a predator-proofed run attached. Children: Could live with older teens/adult only home. Recommend limited handling. Other animals: To be kept together in their bonded pair. They also have the potential to be bonded with other rabbit/s. Must be kept separate from other pets in the home. Additional needs: They are spayed, vaccinated and microchipped with no known health conditions. Adopters will need to keep their yearly vaccinations up to date. Enclosure must be minimum of 60ft² for a bonded pair. Any additional rabbits would need an extra 30ft².
