Lily is a truly sweet and gentle girl who is looking for a loving new home to call her own. She would ideally suit a home with a large, calm, friendly male rabbit she can bond with, as she previously lived happily with a partner. Sadly, she came into our care after her bonded companion passed away, and we would love to see her find that special connection again. Lily has cataracts in her left eye, which means she is now blind on that side. Despite this, she copes incredibly well and navigates her surroundings with confidence once she feels settled. Rabbits rely heavily on their other senses—such as smell, hearing, and memory—and Lily is a wonderful example of how adaptable they can be. It’s possible that her vision may deteriorate further over time, and she may eventually lose sight in her other eye as well. However, this doesn’t stop her from enjoying life. With a consistent environment, gentle handling, and a patient, understanding owner, blind or partially sighted rabbits like Lily can live very happy, fulfilling lives. She would benefit from a calm, stable home where her surroundings don’t change too often, helping her feel safe and secure. In return, she’ll offer lots of affection, companionship, and her lovely, gentle nature. If you already have a large male bunny and feel you could offer Lily the caring home she deserves, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch and complete an application form. We ask an adoption fee of £70 for our bunnies. Bunnies need plenty of room to run, play, and explore — especially as they’re most active after dark. Bunnies will need a secure living and exercise area of at least 3m x 2m, and 1m high. All our bunnies are: Neutered Chipped Vaccinated Four weeks free pet insurance
